West Aurora High School has a grand tradition, dating back to 1868, of educating the young citizens from the West side of Aurora, and from North Aurora and Montgomery. Since those early days, many thousands of graduates have looked back with pride upon their alma mater as the place where they prepared themselves for adult life and created lasting memories with their classmates.

The West Aurora Alumni Association first formed in the 1880s, and revitalized in 2004, weaves together the threads of all those lives into an institution to support the common good of the alumni, the current students and the high school.

Accomplishments in the past few years include:

• Publishing the first published West High Alumni Directory in 2005;
• Establishing a Distinguished Alumni Hall of Honor at West High and inducting charter members in 2006;
• Building a scholarship fund for West graduates,
• Assisting reunion classes,
• Creating an interactive alumni Web site with an online Alumni Web Directory

If you are an alumnus/a, we hope that you will become an active member and/or make a donation. Please click on the "Join the Alumni Association" icon on the right. Memberships and donations help fund our programs. In addition, we are always looking for volunteers. We encourage graduates to post bulletin board announcements on this Web site and add information to the calendar of alumni events, class Web links page and the reunions page.
