There are many committees that keep the Band Booster Program going. We have chairpersons for each of these committees. Volunteers are needed to help in various areas.
GENERAL FUNDRAISING - This committee raises funds to benefit the overall Band Program.
STUDENT FUNDRAISING - This committee will organize fundraising to benefit students in programs that go on band trips. This committee also keeps individual student’s records of sales from these fundraisers.
NEWSLETTER - The newsletter committee will be responsible for the publication and distribution of newsletters throughout the school year for the purpose of informing the general membership of the activities of the band and the Booster Organization.
CHAPERONES - The chaperone committee will be responsible for securing chaperones when needed for band functions.
UNIFORMS - This committee will be responsible for the distribution, the maintenance and the collection of uniforms including concert dress uniforms, marching band uniforms and color guard uniforms.
VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR - The committee will maintain a listing of all parents who are willing to work in the various volunteer areas. They will share the list with the various committee chairpersons. Also included is securing additional volunteers when the need arises.
PUBLICITY - The publicity committee is the liaison between the music program and the school district, local newspaper and the community for the promotion of band and fundraising events.
MEMBERSHIP - The membership committee will solicit memberships, collect dues and keep accurate records of all members of the organization.
HOSPITALITY - This committee will be responsible for the planning of any social event related to band activities including Senior Awards Banquet and others designated by the Board.
