1. Provide and assist parent/family education individually or in groups based on the designated curriculum, interests of parents/families, and individual education plans under the direction of certified staff.
2. Assist in the preparation of parent/family education materials (does not include lesson plans).
3. Assist in the organization and implementation of parent/family education opportunities including but not limited to playgroups, PACT, presentations, field trips, open house, and foster parent/family participation.
4. Assist parents/families in the enrollment process.
5. Schedule, organize and provide information for parent/family and attend meetings including but not limited to conferences, IEP’s, IFSP’s, and assessment clinic staffings.
6. Refer parents/families to community agencies, other resources, and/or the coordinators for assistance.
7. Assist families and staff in transitioning children between various programs including but not limited to prevention initiative, early intervention, at-risk preschool, special education preschool and kindergarten.
