Ever want to share some of your poetry or creative works in front for people to enjoy? Come to Speech Team's First Spoken Word Tryouts. Visit us in room B248, Monday after school, to share your poetry, short story, prose, comedy or anything else that you have come up with. Don't miss this chance to share your creative works with speech team so that you can perform in our first Spoken Word on Thursday November 12 from 6 - 8pm.
Come and enjoy poetry, comedy, short stories, and anything else that our talented performers have come up with, at our first Spoken Word on Thursday, November 12th from 6-8:30pm. Sit down and enjoy our coffee house ambiance for only two dollars a ticket and enjoy Speech team's snacks for a small coffee house fee. We hope to see you there!

Girl's Volleyball Fall Awards Night: Monday, November 9, 2009 at 6:30 p.m. We will meet in the Library.
Girls bowling try-outs: Monday, November 9th at 3:45 to 5:15 at Fun Way Bowling Center in Batavia. A bus is available for those who do not have a ride. Pick-up at Door #15 at 3:10. Bus drop off at West around 5:30. YOU MUST HAVE A RIDE HOME FROM WEST AT 5:30. You must have your blue card to be allowed to ride the bus. Questions? See Coach Williams in A223.

Attention all athletes who plan to try-out for a winter sport...BLUE ATHLETIC PASSES can be picked up from the Athletic Department. In order to try-out for a winter sport EVERY athletes must have a BLUE Athletic Pass to hand to their coach on the first day of practice. Athletes can receive their BLUE Pass by turning in all the required paperwork to the Athletic Office: Parent Permission Form, Emergency Medical Release & Current Physical.

The Sci-Fi Fantasy Club Will meet on Thursday, November 12th to discuss final preparations for the November 17th Modern Warfare 2 Tournament. Members who are selling tickets for the tournament should remember to report to Mr. Williams beginning Monday, November 9th.
Orchesis (dance) Club: Don't forget our next practice will Tuesday, November 10th @ 3:15 in C282!!
The Sci-Fi Fantasy Club will be hosting a CALL OF DUTY: MODERN WARFARE 2 Tournament on Tuesday, November 17th at 5:00pm in room B140. Tickets will go on sale starting November 9th during lunch periods. The cost is $5.00 (students who bring systems/games will not be charged for their tickets). For more information, see Mr. Williams in the English Department.
Mark your calendars and buy your tickets for the Alianza Hispana Dance Friday Night November 13th. All are welcome. Come show your moves and dance to the rhythm of bachata, merengue, reggeaton, and much more. Tickets are $7 and go on sale on Monday Nov 2 - Nov 13. Guest passes available in student services.
